Official Music Videos

I love making videos for my music and the intention has always been to create a video for each of my songs. I've been busy creating a lot of videos for one of my design clients however and so when I get the time I will make some more. I have some ideas in mind for a few. I'm open to collaboration! With these, I have mostly created them on my own with a little help from friends and family including Lucas McGough (film crew from Amazing Race and several music videos), Robert Sterling Smith, Abe Deleon, Dorian Tucker in San Diego on a few and then I have commissioned a couple of them as well including a video done by the very talented, Sandra Powers (Disney, Nickelodeon). Look her up! I've worked with Asha and Ananth Sarella in India as well which led to PRI The World writing about us and from there, a fan (Vishwas Avanthi) created a video for Be You from India and then I commissioned another artist in India (Chiranth Raj) to create some footage to intersperse with San Diego footage a few friends and I including Emmy award winner Adam Bronstein (RuPaul) and Josie Basford made together. Lastly, a video featuring footage of the award winning documentary, Beyond the Horizon that used a demo I created for them. I hope you will enjoy!

Concerts Sessions Practices Impromptus

A mishmash of footage from live concerts, private party impromptus, quiet practices, recording sessions. I wish I had so much more footage from what I consider my best concerts over the years. I do have some audio recordings that I may digitize and create videos from with still images. When I actually practiced daily, I used to play with various jazz and classical artists around Toronto. I will see what I can find to add to this collection.

The Double Feature Creatures, Phantomenon,
Cadillac Bill & The Creeping Bent, Dreaming In Stereo

Everybody's gotta start somewhere and my guitar journey began with the first band entitled, The Double Feature Creatures that I formed after only a month of teaching myself the guitar. I wrote some songs and asked some friends to join me. We started gigging within two months of me learning my first chord. Fearless, fun and fierce! Outta tune and alright! I only have footage of the first few months of us playing live shows. We got good as you can hear in the studio recordings which were live off the floor! Also included are a few videos of my time singing backing vocals in Cadillac Bill & The Creeping Bent. We got on MuchMusic and CityTV Breakfast Television which was exciting for this small town raised girl. And lastly, I have included Phantomenon footage which is a band I joined while I worked at Corus Entertainment. We formed for the companies annual Halloween event called, Rocktoberfest! Aside from a flutist that got stage fright and a singer I was the only woman who joined one of the many staff bands for the event. I came up with our band name and then for Christmas we recorded our own quirky prog/pop punk version of Silent Night and lastly a video by Dreaming In Stereo where I don't appear but I arranged the female vocals.
